Hands-On Clay Saturday is all about friends and fun. This half-day, 4-hour pottery wheel class runs on select Saturday mornings and is open to all ability levels, from beginners and beyond... The class offers a 4-hour intensive and is about giving pottery on the wheel a go while being guided by a tutor. Hands-On Clay Saturday is also an alternative to committing to term classes, just in case you are not sure pottery is for you. We teach people how to throw, a day of fun or the beginning of a creative career. Or maybe you need guidance to refine your previously learned throwing skills. During the class, you will have time to create two to four pieces to keep. If more than four pieces are made during class, you will be directed to choose your four best pieces for glazing. We will trim the footings, add handles, glaze and fire your pottery in your choice of glaze colours. Your pots will be ready for pickup approx. 3-4 weeks after your class.
